Join us on an unforgettable adventure to the largest and most awe-inspiring high mountain lake in Slovenia! Our journey begins at the charming hut of Dr. Klementa Juga in Lepena village. Over the course of 2 to 3 hours, we will ascend approximately 750 meters, immersing ourselves in the captivating beauty of the surrounding landscape. The trail, while not overly challenging, offers a satisfying level of fitness difficulty at 2 out of 5, making it suitable for families with children aged 10 and above.

Most of the trail winds through serene woodlands, creating a tranquil atmosphere as we make our way towards the lake. As we approach our destination, the path gradually opens up, revealing panoramic vistas that will leave you in awe. It is advisable to bring sunscreen, as the final 30 minutes of the hike offer ample exposure to the sun.

Once we reach the lake, we’ll take a well-deserved break and indulge in a refreshing snack, surrounded by the pristine beauty of nature. Basking in the tranquility of this high mountain oasis, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and absorb the serenity that only such a remarkable location can provide.

Afterward, we’ll embark on a leisurely two-hour walk back to our starting point. Including driving time, the estimated duration for this entire adventure is 6-7 hours, ensuring an immersive experience that will create lasting memories.
